West Rib Pub Grill - Talkeetna

We weren't really sure why so many people travel out of their way from the highway to visit Talkeetna. The shopping options are limited and there aren't many attractions to speak of.

It's been nearly 10 years since my last visit, and I'm pleased to report that the food has improved even further, along with the exceptional service I've always enjoyed.

We arrived on Sunday 8/22 on the way back to Anchorage of Denali and stopped here because my wife called “Alaskan King Crab”. Here are our feedback:

Burgers were pretty burnt, took an hour and a half to arrive, server was bitchy and never came around. One great thing about this place was the beer was pretty good. Also the feta fries were really good.
