Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had an impromptu lunch at this restaurant and the atmosphere and view while enjoying our delicious meal were fantastic.
I had a rustic and organic yet tasty meal for a quick lunch. The coffee was excellent and I enjoyed a fantastic view of the mountains. The dessert bowl was also delicious.
It is difficult to know where to start, the dramatic view right after the valley or the established Freeman Organic Farm filling the air with the aroma of organically grown produce, leading you to this beautiful cafe owned by the talented Dani Riley, a mother of five. Dani, a coffee lover, old school baker, and Gold Coast local, has created the best small cafe on the coast. I feel like I've known Dani for a long time, as she welcomes every visitor with warmth and takes the time to make everyone feel at home. The place is humble and filled with locally grown organic produce. If you follow Eightcake on Instagram, you will be familiar with Dani's amazing cooking. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including organic, vegan, and gluten-free choices. I decided to try the Kartoffel Rosti with avocado and hummus, which was beautifully presented and generously portioned. My companion enjoyed the Speck and Eierburger on an Elvis Roll, while the kids indulged in a homemade blueberry muffin. And the coffee? Hot, strong, and served with a smile, it was the perfect complement to the delicious food. As we sat in the garden, watching the kids play and enjoying the tranquility, it was hard not to notice that the food we were eating was grown around us. It truly doesn't get any better than this. Cafe Eightcake is a home away from home, where you can relax, chat with the locals, or simply enjoy some quiet time. I highly recommend visiting Cafe Eightcake, a hidden gem in the Gold Coast. You will find delicious food, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere that will make you want to stay as long as you like. Visit their Instagram and Facebook pages to see more of what they have to offer.
