Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis the 2nd time I have ordered from this restaurant and received food that was not fresh. A couple years had gone by and I tried them again. I ordered a vegetable dish. Every snow pea in this dish had brown spots, most of them had extensive spots. I called them and they offered to replace it but I refused, I figured the chef must have seen it when he cooked it up.
My friend in FL orders takeout from this place weekly. While visiting her, she ordered some things for when I arrived from my flight. The food was surprisingly tasty, and everything we had tasted fresh. However, my friend did warn me that some items on the menu are completely misses and it took her a while to figure out what exactly not to order.
Ordered take out which included Lobster Cantonese, probably the most expensive dish on the menu. I have loved and enjoyed this dish for most of my 57 years but they totally overcooked the lobster to the point where it had the consistency of mush/oatmeal. Manager refused to refund my money and offered a $5.00 credit. I told him what to do with his credit and said that I am going to report the restaurant. He said, do what you want and hung up! Very rude man... definitely not customer oriented.
This may be my second review ot this restraunt, I'm not sure, but I think the staff is very good very quick and seem to never be in a bad mood even with the nastiest of customers. The food is as close to eating in China town Philadelphia as I believe I can get, in other words wonderful, it's mostly take out, but has about four tables if you want to eat in.
I order Tokyo Peking Express at my work and I ask for orange chicken and lomein and a pork egg roll. The lomein was very dry and the orange chicken was Very Spicy when I called the resturant they were very rude and told me that that is how it should be and they were not going to anything for me.
