This place is amazing! We have been here twice and both times the service has been spot on! I recommend the chateaubriand for two! Super delicious and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!
Had to leave a review because Sam our waiter was absolutely stellar last night. He was on point and friendly the entire time. Food was amazing and his service was unmatched! I hope someone higher up sees this because every waiter should learn from Sam!!
Solid Italian inspired steakhouse hidden off the main road of Dale Mabry. The atmosphere inside is like you are in New York City dining at a restaurant. The steaks are well seasoned and cooked to perfection as it melts in your mouth like butter. I recommend sharing the Chateaubriand. It was one of the best cuts of meat I've ever eaten. The fresh spinach was also a delicious side. The house salad is very basic, but it has a nice dressing. The well crafted cocktails are a highlight, and I definitely recommend an old fashioned or espresso martini. Leave room for dessert as you won't be disappointed!
The food was amazing. I got the bistecca e gorgonzola, which was dynamic (sorry about the pictures; they're screenshots of video). The pasta was al dente and the drizzle gave it a beautiful tang. The plate was $33, which is moderately high, as there was only a little bit of tenderloin on there. I got my wife a filet mignon. It was perfect and tender. But at $55, it only comes with a house salad; potato or fries was a $4 upcharge. The pinot noir she got was unremarkable. Is the price justified? Meh. We were placed at a booth behind the reception, and the phone kept ringing. That was annoying, as the place was rather empty at that 6 o'clock hour on a Sunday. The music was nice but would have preferred more jazz/Nat King Cole/Tony Bennett to some of the pop that played. Finally, it was dimly lit, which concealed a bit of deterioration on some ceiling tiles. Overall, we enjoyed it, and I would recommend the place. I would hope they take a look at the ceiling though. When what I can see is out of order, what I can't begins to spook me. But I say give them a hearty try; it's worth it
