Trattoria Il Baccanale - TAORMINA

Small portion for pasta. Don’t recommend lasagna. Pasta in lasagna was not aldente (overcooked), there was very little minced meat. And the whole thing was closer to a porridge than a lasagna.

Dopo il tour nella bellissima villa cittadina di Taormina, per salire al centro ci siamo imbattuti in questa trattoria esteticamente ben curata. Posizionata lontano dal traffico e soprattutto con personale gentile e qualificato. Alla fine, la casa ci ha deliziato con un vino aromatizzato alle mandorle. Il cibo davvero ottimo, lo consigliamo vivamente.

Altamente raccomandato...tutto eccellente, dal cibo al servizio......ritorneremo

Some of the reviews said, poor service and poor food, I can only say they must have been very picky or went on an off night. We have just been and had perfect meal, beautifully presented by friendly helpful staff. Typically Italian surroundings as only a street restaurant can provide. From the sea food starter to the carbonara, local wine and finishing off with cappuccino, everything was spot on. No hesitation in recommending a visit. Just make sure you book first as queues can be long on this popular restaurant.
