Avaliação da contribuiçãoThere is a restaurant inside this hotel! And a really good one at that! We were a bit surprised to be the only guests for lunch that day. The place is owned by a couple: he cooks, she greets. Our initial impression was that she was bossy as she was a bit assertive in taking our order. Subsequent conversations dissipated this impression; she is quite nice and pleasant. We were very impressed by the quality of the cuisine; the dishes were superbly prepared, with some very original combinations of tasteful ingredients. This chef is quite talented. There is a nice selection of dishes; one Menu Gourmet at 32.90 Euros and one Menu Gourmand at 37.90 Euros (see photos). We had the Menu Gourmand. We were able to sample quite a few dishes by sharing among us. The foie gras was delicious, perfectly cooked unlike most places that end to overcook it; in fairness, we were disappointed by the scarcity of the portions (see photo). The ris d’agneau with mushrooms was also excellent. The tartare de daurade was quite good though also a small portion. The ris de veau was particularly enjoyable with powerful flavors. The filet de beuf was quite good though also frugally served. The desserts were good and the wine (recommended by the chef) adequate. The dining room is elegantly furnished and the service good. Overall, this was a great meal. It could easily have been an outstanding meal with just minor adjustments; something I am sure the restaurant will address. If we go back to the area, we will definitely have lunch or dinner there again.
Couldn't be better food. Delicous Foie gras and Riz de veau. Too bad that the interiors are rather ugly, to put it mildly. Such a pity.
Located in a nice corner of the Corrèze, it is very well received by a very friendly and dynamic couple. The rooms are simple and comfortable, the excellent kitchen! Special mention for the reception of bikers: a large closed garage can house several motorcycles. To recommend warmly.
Comfortable and very well-kept hotel. Welcome to small care. A gourmet stopover with refined cuisine and quality products.
Very good experience, from booking to the end of the stay. We loved the restaurant where for the very first time in 9 years, with children, had the very good surprise to discover a simple but very effective concept: 1 quality card with for children the same dishes as adults but half the price. It's TOP, children eat well and parents don't have to finish their plates.
