Silvers Pantry - Taunton Deane

The restaurant always has fantastic specials on the menu and incredible, generously portioned cakes in the display case, with gluten-free options available. The service is friendly and welcoming, with staff always ready to help with a smile.

During our stay at a local Airbnb, we decided to have a cooked breakfast and found ourselves at Silvers. We were the first customers of the day and, although we didn't have a reservation, we would recommend booking in advance as it was getting busy by the time we left with tables being reserved. The setting was charming, with goats and chickens keeping us entertained while we waited for our food. The cooked breakfast and orange juice were the best I have ever had - the bacon was perfectly cooked, as was the poached egg, and the bread was deliciously thick and fluffy. The staff were calm and friendly, and though the prices were higher than a standard greasy spoon, it was absolutely worth it. The coffee was also delicious and the tea came served in a pot. I would recommend Silvers to everyone.

Some friends and I came to silvers pantry last Saturday. The food was perfect and not too much of a wait however the FOH were rude in manners and seemed more occupied with gossiping. I would come again but purely for the food not the service.

Visited today, had the Pantry Breakfast, pancakes and Colcannon all of which were superb! Lovely surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. Will be back soon.

I went here this morning for my 60th birthday breakfast with my husband.Both our meals and coffee were excellent. As it’s right on our doorstep,we look forward to returning again.
