Gold Taste Cafe - Teluk Intan

We tried the shell out and it tasted good. Comfort level of the cafe environment is quite nice..So the worst part was the table cleanliness waitress unwelcoming behavior we were abit disheartened by the waitress when she made a face when we asked her politely to clean leftovers on our table. Plus, she didn't even really clean the whole table..she only cleaned the part that was nearer to her this kind of treatment to customers is no good to your business, sir.

Likes: Ample seating area indoor and outdoor, menu booklet looks presentable, the restaurant is very close to Rapid Mall so easy access from Jalan Changkat Jong (south bound) with ample parking lots albeit muddy surface during rainy days. Cafe is clean though. One Thumb Up: I think the only Malay run restaurant that serves Lobster in Teluk Intan. I ordered Grilled Chicken Chop, satisfactory. Meat is tender, fries are crispy and veggies are good. For the drink, I ordered Milk Carrot. HORRIBLE!!! I ended up going to the McD and redeemed Coke Freeze to quench my thirst. I may want to taste the Lobster menu in my next visit. Dislikes: Menu may not be available on that particular day so brace yourself and the young male waiter seems oblivious and unsure how to properly communicate with customers. One Thumb Down: Typical family run Malay restaurant where they put a big swing or an armchair in front of the counter and lounging loudly with ease. What a ghastly scenery! Gold Tatse should change to Silver Taste. Two Thumbs Down: Staff was chatting loudly in front of the counter. Baby was crying. The mother cuddling the baby in the big nest like chair with that irritating cracking sound. Really spoiling my dinner mood but as I was famish, I ate anyway.

I ordered chicken fajitas. It's overcooked and burnt. I informed the waiter/cashier, he replied it is so to make it soft. But I saw the picture here which shows that it is nicely done. I don't get what I paid for.

Maybe i came not at the right time. Finished my food but my drink is yet to be served..huhu. I paid and left without having a drink! I was informed that 3 of their staff just resigned. To the owners, keep it up!
