The Dive - Temple City

The food is always exceptional. It's one of the rare places where my husband actually enjoys the gumbo, thanks to the addition of okra. The clam chowder bowl is fantastic, and I've consistently loved their drink of the month. Recently, I tried the Mother of Dragons and it was delightful, but this month's special, Watermelon Sugar High, was super cute and incredibly sweet! They offer a wide variety of food and drink options. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit!

The service was excellent. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were offered seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience. We enjoyed watching the chefs at work, and Johnny, the chef, was very friendly. The food was fantastic; I ordered the pan roast and loved it. I can't wait to return and try some of their other dishes.

Our server, Cindy, was knowledgeable about the drink and food options and was exceptionally pleasant. Another server, Jonathan, was also very helpful, particularly in guiding us through the menu and recommending the special Sunday mimosa for just $6 with any entrée. We thoroughly enjoyed all the appetizers, and our main courses were delicious. A huge thanks to all the servers and cooks at the Dive for making our Sunday so memorable. Everyone here truly excels at what they do. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood and pan roast dishes; it's a must-visit! My family and I will certainly be returning again and again. Thank you to everyone at the Dive – your customer service is outstanding!

They lost power as we were about to get seated. We were given water, that's it. It was our anniversary. We ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes for the power to be restored. We ended up going to to another restaurant, Newport Seafood Restaurant. No apologies given. The staff seemed unsure what to do. Other customers were waiting for a table and others simply left.

One of the only place you can get pan roast in the area!Such a interesting way to cook the food. All the items here are good. I usually get a poboy too. The fries always come out crispy.Parking on the street level is tough but there are a lot of spots in the underground parking.The service is good ??Overall: will be back for pan roast
