L'ours Macon - Tence

We were invited here by friends for a group lunch. The restaurant is set in woodland and surrounded by its putting greens. Unfortunately the day we visited it was raining so putting was not on our agenda. For fine days there is a pleasant terrace. There was a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service. The group were provided with a set menu with a choice of two main courses and a choice of white, rose and red wine. The food was well prepared and presented. The starter of melon and ham was excellent and as with all of the courses the portions were generous. My pork dish was excellent and the vegetable garnishes were perfect. The plated selection of desserts was very well received by all. All in all it was a very pleasant lunch time and I would not hesitate to return.

We had a great day down there. A big tab of 15 people and everything was perfect from aero to dessert. Very good and well presented kitchen. Staff at the top. An exceptional setting for putting golf under the trees and shade. I strongly recommend

What a great discovery. On vacation around the corner, we are really not disappointed. Warm welcome, exceptionally high quality meals, beautiful presentation and very good. All in a haven of peace.
