Had an outstanding meal last night. The service was prompt courteous. The rolls were a great place to start ... pulled from the oven at the right time, they were awesome (I 've made my own rolls for a number of years, these were spot on). The Ribeye I had was outstanding (they source a lot of their meat from Magro 's out of Springfield). It was huge, yet surprisingly tender for the size. One of our dinner companions opted for the pork chop. It also was huge, but grilled to a T from my side of the table it looked like a great option to the monster sitting on my plate. Owner Josh was on hand to make sure things were running smoothly. If you 're looking to get out of Springfield (and the chain restaurants) or are just in the surrounding area of Thayer, you owe it yourself to take a short trip and check out Mick Mary 's. I believe it will be one of the best meals you 've had in a while. Take cash to get a discount; the credit card machine is down temporarily. They throw in a tasty side of spaghetti on the house which is a Mick Mary tradition. Try the homemade house dressing!
