Harvest Moon

Avourote Cantonese food in Hamilton! So sad. Anyone know if they moved or just closed?

My family and I have been enjoying Harvest Moon for many years! I am very sad to hear rumours that they are closing.

The best in Hamilton.......Period. Sorry to see it close.

First of all, the food was decent. We ordered chicken and salted fish fried rice, sweet and sour pork (my personal fav , lemon chicken and guylan (I think? with garlic. Now the foods came at reasonable time. We also did order some dimsum. The first two dimsum came within 20minutes. The third dimsum came after we finished all of our main courses. I rejected them and our server was going to take it back but then there was another guy (probably his boss keep yelling yes from the back at the restaurant. At this point, I did not want to make a fuss and just take it anyway and I made sure to tell him to not bring the rest of the foods out because really.. we 've been there for an hour. There is no point anymore. So, here is why they only deserve two stars. When we came in, we were not greeted and had to go to the back of the restaurant to ask for a table. When we finally were ready to order, at least 4 waitress saw us but none actuallt approached us to take our order. I had to yell excuse me pretty loudly for someone to come and take our order. By the end of our meal, I asked for the bill, which never came. So I went to the back and paid for it. When I got there, guess what, the rest of my dimsum were just coming from the kitchen. The cashier forced me to take it and pay for it. So I said, no! That was an hour ago. She finally gave in. I mean, this is just plain bad service. TL;DR: food was decent, service was terrible

Can wait to host my company business Luncheon there this Monday JAN. 30TH WHAT ARE YOU THOUGHTS for food.
