Shipley Do-nuts

It was an early Thursday morning in Houston, Texas, and I was craving a kolache. I knew exactly where to go: Shipley Do-nut at Highway 6 North. Shipley Do-nut is a Houston institution, and it's known for its delicious kolaches. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, but my favorites are the Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. I arrived at Shipley Do-nut around 7:30am, and the place was already buzzing. There was a line of people waiting to order, but it moved quickly. I placed my order for a Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and a Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. The kolaches were freshly made and piping hot out of the oven. They were soft and fluffy on the inside, and the fillings were generous and flavorful. The sausage was juicy and flavorful, and the cheese was melted and gooey. The jalapeños in the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños added a nice kick of heat. I took a bite of each kolache and was immediately transported to heaven. The flavors were so delicious and comforting. The kolaches were the perfect way to start my day, and they gave me the energy I needed to power through the morning. I highly recommend Shipley Do-nut for anyone looking for a delicious and timely breakfast. The kolaches are delicious and affordable, and the service is always friendly and efficient. I was disappointed as in the morning the glazed used to be fresh. Second time I have run into this at different locations. The one on N Main did the same thing recently.

The hwy 6 N location, they were engaged in personal conversation to notice I walked in and to give me the attention necessary to get my order correctly done right, like the hwy 6 s location, were perfect and I never had an issue.

At 6am the drive thru didn't work .I ordered the cinnamon rolls which tastes like cinnamon honey buns .
