Can't comment on accommodation, went for Sunday roast, as having a short break in the area, was very tasty, welcoming to dogs, very busy, we have a very anxious dog and we were put in a quieter area, as we requested, but alot of foot traffic,so still upset him unfortunately and we didn't want to be a nuisance to others enjoying their afternoon, so we took dessert to go, so my only advice would be if your dog is even slightly anxious,maybe eat outside (weather depending, or look somewhere else) if you haven't a dog let alone an anxious one, then the four horseshoes is perfect, pre book

I cannot speak to the accommodations, but I visited this restaurant for Sunday roast during a short break in the area. The food was delicious and we appreciated that they welcomed dogs. The restaurant was very busy, but they seated us in a quieter area as we requested due to our very anxious dog. Unfortunately, there was still a lot of foot traffic that upset our dog, so we decided to take our dessert to go to avoid causing a disturbance to other diners. If you have an anxious dog, I recommend eating outside (weather permitting) or finding another dining option. However, if you do not have a dog, The Four Horseshoes is a perfect choice. Be sure to pre-book a table in advance.

Stayed a while back now for the night had lunch nxt day couldn't believe we were like 3 tables away from Ed sheeran chums) ... WOW!! The menu at The Four Horseshoes is diverse with intriguing and delicious options. Our group of five included someone who is gluten-free, and they were pleased with the variety of choices available. The server was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend dining at The Four Horseshoes.
