Could be much better if managed correctly. Originally a beautiful lakeside estate now a building in a public park. Crowds until late included. Nice from the outside and at first inside too. The whole hotel is completely understaffed and savings going to the expense...of guests. This sadly included stained upholstery and dirty floors with a strong smell of drain in the room. Some common areas have beautiful lake view but are badly furnished. A classic that seems more than it is. Better value at higher level is nearby.

Very kind personnel. The food is amazing and the view is splendid. The people were very friendly. Definitely recommend!

We spend one night there with my husband and it was really an amazing experience! The service seemed more the one of a stars hotel. The attention was perfect from the moment we entered until we left. The food of the restaurant...was really good. We took the degustation menu and everything was delicious. The castle itself as well as the room is just beautiful. I really recommend this place and I hope we will be able to go back soon!

We had been wanting to stop here for lunch for several years but just never made it. Finally this year we did and it was wonderful. It was one of the best meals of our trip. The location is terrific, the service is exceptional, and...the food was exquisite.

This restaurant sits at a perfect location overlooking the lake of Thun. The food and the service were both good. While the view was simply wonderful. We really enjoyed it!
