Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen I was a local many years ago I loved coming out to the Neebing Roadhouse for food. If I was in a dressy mood I would go to the right which was the steak house, and if I was feeling casual or after skiing at Loch Lomond we would go to the bar side. On this visit I wanted to explore the Steakhouse side. When we arrived the parking lot was full, and I was surprised to see how full the bar side was. Locals have always known this still is a good place to go.Though that day, I was interested in a quieter steak house side. There were only two other tables with people there and the waitress had informed us that this was the last day this side was going to be open till the fall. Service has excellent and swift. My husband and I decided to split a Carpese salad and I had ordered the Prime Rib while my husband had ordered the Bass. Food was large and excellent, and they cooked the prime rib just the way I wanted it.I guess my only negative comment was the place looked like it was closing; there were empty tables pushed up against the wall and chairs stacked. Also the place lost some of its upscale ambiance while listening to the satellite radio and sports scores. Would I go back to the steakhouse? Yes probably in the winter, when the dining room is in full swing. Though I want something a little more quiet and romantic for the price not baseball stats. Though I would certainly return, dress more casual and join all the other locals on the bar side.If you are visiting the Thunder Bay area, please take a look at my other reviews for restaurants and activities. I'm still a semi-local as I spend a great deal of time visiting my parents.
We had dinner at the Neebing Road House and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. All our meals were fantastic and the poutine was awesome! Also include a few cold beers from a variety on tap and friendly conversation with the staff to make a great night.
Been here a few times and the menu is always evolving. If your tired of the same options for bar foods the neebing has you covered! Had the pulled pork taquito and was a fantastic twist on some food staples! Worth the drive!
Good food and good service. Fair value. We picked from a prefix menu due to the size of our group. The maple ribs were pretty good, but by far members of our group thought the salmon was excellent.
This is a quality restaurant with a very nice mountain view. You definitely pay for the view, but the food is good. I has a fish taco, which was actually more of an enchilada, and it was good. The chicken noodle soup was okay as well. Good service but the place was mostly empty when I was there for a late lunch. It is clean in the dining area.
