Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe restaurant is vibrant, charming, and captivating. The coffee and chai lattes were delicious. However, the service was not very friendly. I recommend visiting the excellent butcher shop across the street instead!
I had received a recommendation to stop by this restaurant for a coffee during one of my work trips from Brisbane to Maryborough. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The girl working behind the counter appeared uninterested and unwelcoming. She did not greet me or offer any friendly communication. The man making the coffee had a similar expressionless demeanor, despite my attempts to engage with a smile. The decor of the shop was interesting, featuring items from my childhood on display. The coffee I ordered was average in taste and weak in strength. It was placed on the counter without a thank you, and the server walked away without a word. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I will not be returning on my next trip.
We had a early morning visit and had hoped for some breakfast but food items are limited and more morning tea/biscuit style. On the more positive side the coffee was great. The shop sold lots of kitchen gadgets and the retro display was very cool. Seating outside was also eye catching. Would stop for coffee again if passing through
Worth the stop. After trying to find a decent coffee on this stretch of highway, finally some success. A great collection of the retro as well
An interesting little cafe with an 80's theme. Great coffee and friendly, personal service Located conveniently on the main road. Well worth stopping by for a coffee.
