Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe seafood, Carpaccio, the staff and especially the Italian live music gave him a very economical note for Italian lovers in Spain. Will definitely come back during the week
What a beautiful view that was, my wife of 49 years and I on a romantic Valentine's Day evening in Puerto del Carmen. The place was perfect, with an excellent decor and position. Unfortunately, our booking was overlooked, but not necessary because only a quarter of the restaurant was full. We sat down and ordered the starter came and was for another table, hey, these things happen and our garlic gambas came, but at best they were mediocre. The lasagna of my wife was not brilliant, but acceptable, my fillet steak was under par and although I wasn't offered a cooking opportunity, I'm happy to be part of rare steak. The service was usually friendly, but not to the standard of most restaurants in the resort. The ambience was great and a perfect pianist turned, which could have been a very disappointing evening to a great one. We are visitors to Lanzarote every year, but not back to this restaurant.
After a fantastic meal in the Antica Trattoria The day before we drove back to lunch, as my good friend had left the island later this day. My good friend said this old place is open Pepe Nero but it saw Derelict me as his closed about 2 years We wondered in and jap it was open, but looked like the place fell to damp and dirt over the walls and ceiling of the place looked terrible, but we thought what the hell are here now best give them an attempt The menu was very minimal so I went for the salmon Tagliatelle When it arrived I was gob smacked The Tagliatelle was as thick as a Fisherman's Belt and was bumped in the middle of my plate without any sign of effort Since I looked at it in Dismay I could not believe what I saw No sign of salmon or sauce The garlic bread was 2 slice baguette with so much garlic it burned my tongue
This is not the Pepe Nero that it was earlier, nor are the employees! The restaurant was cold, welcoming and uncomfortable. There was no way to pay with credit card/debit card, seems they just wanted cash. We knew something went out when we went through the door when we visited this place for many years. It didn't last five minutes and went right back. Avoid!
I'll keep this short and sweet Don't like giving negative reviews but this place was Terrible The restaurant looked like they just opened the doors after 3 years of being closed and started service as usual It was Run down and the food was Terrible...In my opinion ide avoid
