Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe been twice and liked it both times. The staff was very friendly, and food was good when we could actually get what they had on the menu. They we slammed. Out of everything from pizza to prime rib that sold out in 30 minutes. The oyster shooters were the best thing.
It was okay. My burger and my husbands were both overcooked. The service was good. I have since been told that we should have ordered the fish and chips. Next time!
This is a great place to grab a beer. The bar is fully staffed and the selection was slightly diverse than the typical domestic taps. They serve decent bar food as well. I had fried oysters. They were pretty average as far as bar food goes, but easily improved with a dash of salt and some lime slices nabbed from the condiment tray. The patrons are friendly locals, and they fill the bar with conversation and laughter. They will engage you so don't come here if you're an introvert. They have a dog friendly patio and all the typical bar amenities.
This oddly-named single level establishment is simultaneously the best, worst, largest, and smallest bar in Oceanside. Typical neighborhood blue-collar watering hole with friendly staff and local color. Standard pub fare is well-prepared and very affordable. Breakfast was greasy in a good way, eggs fried in the residual thick-cut bacon grease... just the way I like it. It's most notable trait might be its generous covered outdoor seating with accompanying ocean-facing view. A nice place to stop in after a road trip to the coast.
Friendly people! 5 stars for that. Clam chowder being the only thing we got for takeout was a major disappointment! For being on the coast I didn’t taste one clam in my bowl of floury paste. I would not waste the money for clam chowder from this place. Very disappointed.
