Avaliação da contribuiçãoFor a while, the only dining option on a patio at Humber Bay Shores was Eden. While it's fantastic, having additional choices is always a plus. Firkin on the Bay is a fantastic new addition to this beautiful area. Even if you choose to dine indoors, the large windows offer stunning views of Lake Ontario and the downtown Toronto skyline.
Interior design: I appreciated the London tube-inspired decor. Customer service: Unfortunately, the service was lacking. The server did her best but was overwhelmed, leading to a long wait for my meal due to a power outage. The management could improve their handling of unexpected situations.
I really love this restaurant. I used to come here every weekend during the summer. The prices are fair, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly. The outdoor seating in the summer is the highlight. The decor is lovely and gives the restaurant a charming British vibe.
We came here with a big group of family and were seated inside. Outside was pretty packed but inside was dead with us and two other tab. The kids meals came out with scalding hot Mac n cheese. Really? Then I had to get my own water refill in champagne glass because I asked for water, was never brought so I walked over with my champagne glass and filled it up. The waitress brought them 15 min later, apologized. I had to flag down server and to pay bill. Our 2,5 year old had had enough sitting there waiting, since we were there 2+ hours. She only brought us our bill so everyone else had to ask for theirs too. Our appetizer had TWO fried pickles in platter. Maybe put a few more. They had no kids cups. I am super sad. My sister told us about how great it was here, but it didn't live up to her past experiences.
Nice place good prices but a bit slow service. We tried necho salad snd a steak and the food was good. Had a very nice mojito.
