If they order the bibimbap and remove the ice, it is vegan! also the kimchi and the rest of the banchans which give it is also vegan. super healthy and delicious!
Small cozy place tried the veg dol sot bibimbap sans ei plus the extra toppings and it was delicious. were good for the price and the appetizers were a nice note. go back to try their other veg options. updated by previous review on 2016-09-18
The owners of the restaurant are amazing and always accommodating. They always remember us and that my partner and I are vegan. It was hard to find vegan Korean food since a lot of the staples are made with fish sauce, but their kimchi is not and so they have many vegan options. The kimchi pancakes are amazing, the tofu soup and the fried rice are staples for us. They also have lots of noodle options. Did I mention the owners are the loveliest of people and always happy to accommodate allergies and restrictions. Tip: Ask to try the preserved Perilla leaves!
Everything is clearly indicated vegetarian just take off the egg for vegan on the menu. While giving us the side dishes, the waitress specified that there was no fish sauce. I would highly recommend to take a stew and japchae, the bibimbap was bland for my taste. The kimbap is ok korean sushi . Nice place for vegan overall
