Visited Ise-Shima during the stay at the hotel. It's expensive, but authentic and reminded me to be in Tokyo. The service was great, the food was really good, Sashimi was delicious and the rice and mushrooms and ginger and fish eggs were the best class. With a beer that made it for a nice dinner in a Sunday night. Great place to bring someone, staff are all Japanese who added authenticity. There are many places in the area, but if you want the ambience and the great location, then it is worthwhile to vent into the hotel and try the food here.
A gem hidden inside the Miyako hotel. Service is attentive and warm. The food is presented beautifully and very high quality. Many of the meals come with unlimited access to the salad bar which has lots of fresh veggies, and miso soup as well. The restaurant is actually beautiful I can?t believe it took me this long to come here! It isn?t cheap, $20-35 meals, but with the salad bar and quality, it?s worth it. The matcha tiramisu that came with our meal was a pleasant and delicious surprise too. The daytime clientele are older Japanese folk as well as business people having lunch meetings. Parking is ample.
Our sushi chef Takayuki was awesome. The food was very good and the chocolate mousse was delicious!
From Japan: We had dinner there, and had some local sushi and so on. I love California rolls and 'sumashi ' soup. They have Japanese sake and other liquor, and can accept original cackles by request. A Japanese staff was very kind and helpful for our table. As a whole, very good restaurant, but a little bit overpriced.
