Avaliação da contribuiçãoI've eaten here for the first time with my wife today. the eating margaritas were great! our server was amazing. she was very customer-oriented. she was attentive, friendly and supplied us with exceptional service. if they are ever in the opposite of torrance, I recommend to them to visit the la capilla mexican restaurant.
I love this place I've been here since 1990. I love cooking there, my favorite is her tortillas suppe. I remember that we would grow up at least 2 to 3 times in the week I would celebrate her birthday from 5 to 35 years of life all my birthday. I have every picture there for my birthdays this place will always be my favorite restaurant.
We ate outside. It was fine, but it was a temporary setup for COVID so it was in the street. There was a tent that covered the street side, so that was nice. We still has pretty good service, and a waitstaff came by every so often. The carnitas burrito had nothing in it except meat. (No rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, anything. The carnitas itself tasted great, and was very tender. But I wouldn 't say it 's really a burrito if the only ingredients are meat and tortilla. But if you 're a meat lover, this burrito is for you. And it was still tasty the next day (it was way too much to eat in one sitting . The tacos (I can 't remember which meat I got were nothing to write home about. The hard shell broke in half upon first bite, and it was easier to just eat it with a fork. The cheese and lettuce spilled out (I couldn 't even see where one taco ended and the other began and it was not a handheld food by any nature. Mediocre and certainly not legit Mexican tacos. The beans in the combo that I ordered were good. But let 's talk about the rice. It was honestly the worst Spanish rice I have ever eaten in my life. It did not remotely taste like tomato it actually tasted like plastic a bit. The rice was soggy. There was no flavor. I didn 't think I was picky with my Spanish rice. I would 've been happier with just plain white rice. I 've made better Spanish rice at home. Fast food Spanish rice is leagues better. Do not order this rice. I don 't know if they add the rice to other dishes, but it probably ruins any dish it goes in. 0/10 The complimentary chips tasted more like store bought chips to me. Too salty. The person I went with to La Capilla thought they were delicious because he loves salt. I think they were fresh, though. The salsa was good, no complaints. Essentially, if you want real Mexican food, don 't come here. I was not satisfied with their food. The Halloween decorations were really cute, though, and their service and food presentation was good.
Food is just ok. I had their chicken mole with rice, beans and salad and yons of sour cream. Mole was too watered down and didn't taste like anything, there was not enough chicken and the entire plate was mainly beans and rice, also salad- there was hardly any just a glob of sour cream for low low price of 18. Nor worth it. Chips were good but salsa could be better.
I had to enchilada del mar. it was very delicious. I love the chips and salsa. the people are very friendly and take care of them. I'll go back and bring my friends.
