Avaliação da contribuiçãoWow, very affordable and great place to get “real” authentic high quality Japanese sushi. My daughter loved it and when we are in the area again, will definitely come back!
Great sushi-ya. Literally a mom pop joint. Old school sushi. No rolls except for CA and futo maki. Super small indoor seating but in Covid times doesn't matter. I get it togo.
I’m astonished by the high quality fish of this place. The number 1 and 8 special combination are really delicious and run by wife and husband. Definitely a hidden gem. Thank me later.
This is the last of the old school sushi joints great sushi very nice person the sushi chef. Sorry I didn't get to take any pictures I ate the photographic evidence. Treat yourself to some great sushi and nice people.
Been craving for authentic Japanese nigiri sushi so I decided to try few different places for takeout. Today’s lunch visit is a mom-pop store hidden in an old plaza off Torrance area. I have been here years ago and recall the owners passion for singing karaoke and baseball. While decoration is no-frill but the sushi was very solid and price is affordable. I ordered the nigiri sushi combo #1 Togo. Good quality of seafood (better than supermarket takeout for sure). Their tuna and white fish (halibut) as well as house marinated Saba were better than some dine in restaurants quality. The rolls were tasty too. One thing that stood them up than most is the rice. This places sushi rice does taste authentic Japanese sushi rice with the right balance of vinegar in it while many fast food chain or non-Japanese chains failed to understand the importance of rice. Overall, a very solid sushi takeout place with affordable pricing. Recommended.
