Tina gave us a warm-hearted welcome, and was very helpful with charging the car, directions to the beach and general information! The rooms are clean and roomy and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Tina!!
Vesited the Coach and Horses during a stay in Clovelly. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and the locals had the horse racing and football results on the TV. This was perfect for a nice relaxing afternoon mixing in with the locals, my wife and I had a really enjoyable time. The beer was good and fresh, the setting was clean and tidy, the locals were really friendly and I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area. We will definitely be going back again when we are in the area.
I stopped here whilst visiting my grandparents. Landlady Tina was lovely and left me to my own devises (which was perfect as I literally just needed someone to sleep) breakfast was kind of non existant really unless you ask for it the previous day. So I’d advise you take something with you (pot porridge was perfect) Walls are paper thin so can hear every little noise from other visitors inc snoring . All that said it suited my purpose but would reconsider if my husband was to make the trip next time. All in all if you need a base this b&b is perfect if your wanting to make more of a holiday maybe look abit closer to Bideford, especially because the pub doesn’t serve food and quite a journey to the nearest restaurant.
The Coach Horses is a proper pub with an excellent annex providing quality accommodation at a reasonable price. The en-suite room was clean, spacious comfortable with a handy continental breakfast included. Although the pub does not provide food, the lovely landlady Tina serves excellent Real Ale in the bar. The locals are friendly the atmosphere convivial. Much to recommend!
