Hotel CampanileToulouse Restaurant

New hotel very clean inexpensive and worth a stay just for the Cite l'Espace opposite.Hotel has wifi, bar, restaurant .

I was in a 3 days training class in the area and lunch was on the training provider. On day two they took us to Campanile. Once we arrived we had at least 3 waiter passing by and not paying us any attention. When somebody...finally stopped by it took forever to have them find for our reservation. Once seated we had to wait forever again and when we tried to draw the attention of somebody the answer was I 'll be there later . On the food: we had to choose between cold meat 3 small pieces with even less lettuce on the side) and crudités as appetizer, hot buffet as main entrée and fromage blanc or fruit salad out of a can. The hot buffet was serving: pasta with butter, steamed rice, chicken wing, some sort of thin pork steak, so called chili con carne and steak potato. I could not decide if worse the quality or the preparation. As icing on the cake, we did not get even a single smile by the staff during the whole meal

We stayed for a quick overnight at a nearby budget hotel, and the restaurant at the Hotel Campanile was only sole place to get food within walking distance. We had a couple of glasses of wine in the lobby lounge, then ordered takeaway pizza that was passable. Any port in a storm!

A little disappointing because their proposal turns around buffet and the dishes are not wanted. Deplorable service

The restaurant is largely serves a buffet, with a choice of 2 A La Carte dishes, Burger or Entrecote! So a bit limited, but adequate if you are hungry and don't want to travel anywhere.
