La Cendree - Toulouse

We hadn’t made a reservation for this restaurant and I would highly recommend doing so as we got lucky that there was one high table available. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really cosy and I really like the space between tables. The staff working were extremely friendly and would go out of their way to assist with any requirements. The menu is small but the food was tasty and offered a formule. The food was a traditional french menu. The restaurant also accept cheque vacances which is also a bonus.

Great ambience, perfect for a romantic lunch. The restaurant has a huge fireplace which we were sat next too, nicely decorated, good lighting and friendly staff. The food was very nice, not exceptional, but well cooked, nicely presented and tasty and 32 euros was fairly priced. One of the better restaurants of this type in Toulouse.

We attended the restaurant yesterday evening to celebrate a friends birthday. We all opted for the set menu which was extremely reasonably priced for an evening meal €25 for three courses. Whilst each course was smaller than most portions you would get in Toulouse the quality and presentation of the food trumped this and I felt the amount of food was appropriate for three courses. To start I had scallops in a Thai sauce I can not explain how tasty the sauce was and the scallops were cooked perfectly, although this was not what I was expecting as the menu describe the starter as ‘crevettes’ however it was a nice surprise upgrade when scallops appeared. For main magret de canard this was cooked perfectly with sautéed new potatoes and a delicious jus. To finish a crème brûlée this was served a little different to a traditional crème brûlée and was served on a biscuit. I really like the restaurant as the tables were not to close to one another as in most restaurants in Toulouse. You can have a conversation without the next table listening in. The restaurant also had a beautiful open fire which added character to the room. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone enjoys traditional French cuisine.

A very good quality cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere (attention to the volume of music.) good dishes, gaspacho, carpaccio. Meat cooked with wood fire! a little disappointed with the dessert of the day (a lost bread.) the staff is very kind. all this for a correct price for this quality. I highly recommend!!

Has two steps of equirol, a vaulted restaurant, tastefully decorated and intelligent. a menu at 16 € for 3 dishes, perfect for a stop at noon, between two walks or meetings. the welcome of the team is kind and smiling, the fast and professional service. pleasant and very good taste, for a formula at noon at very reasonable price. you feel well in this cool setting in summer and warm in winter. an address to be retained.
