Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn the weekend of the bank, which is to be fair to semz, and in which every other caffe on the Roman street meant that they were clearly against them in terms of the delivery of food orders. very friendly staff took our order, one of which...was the vegan breakfast, on the menu known as vegan joy. the items on the menu for this dish were listed as follows: hash browns, sautéed spinat, vegan sausage, blase squeak, grilled cherry tomato, hot baked beans. arrived was a fried egg, spinat, which was visible in butter, a vegan sausage, which seemed to contain an unholy amount of milk-based cheese, as well as most of the items mentioned above. there was already a (something understandable) waiting for food, and the server was already visibly complained with other tables and or indicating that they would like to be served. it seemed incredibly unfair on them to be the face of a kitchen that can not be basic things like if a fried egg can work in a vegan breakfast. considering the wider menu, it could be that this place tries to cover too many bases, and would be better off to honing his craft in some selected areas, instead of promise grill, fry, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, pancakes and anything else under the sun. the nutritional requirements must be taken seriously before they can expand into these areas.
Summary for the context of the terrible star rating first I fell in love with the coffee shop as soon as I entered. the outer and inner are enchanting, quirky and retro. the ambiente is great; the three server (a...middle-age man, a dark-haired woman and a blonde woman) are exceptionally friendly, what seems, everyone who goes in especially the natives makes a great effort with the older masters, couples and families with children (genuine embraces and take care of the whole round). the offer and that looks great, and the coffee is exceptional. the speed in the service and even the toilets are brilliant. I moved here last week for a new jobs, will be here for a few years, and I was so excited to make this my local coffee shop for all the years. I would have come here the most weekday morning to do work, I am a woman, a historic who is based on a university and works far away. I would have ordered two coffees each time, so I would spend an average week; this is about a year plus, I would have sung his praise for all my friends and family when she visited. I make it a coffee shop that I would have brought all my visitors and my partner to any other weekend. I am devastating that I felt unwilling from the dark-haired woman, and even more hearty that I will now probably spend this money on a chain coffee shop instead. I would have liked to support this independent business. the reason why I write this is because I think I have insulted them massively by asking that my water bottle be filled at my second visit; but I don't think she thought I was fair. I really understand if people are bad. but I thought to spend a coffee each time, would be okay for me to ask for free water for my water bottle to focus on the work. I also understand if I took a place, only spent hours. but I really would have left if it had ever reached the full capacity, so someone could take my room right. I have not used any current for my laptop (always full before I go home). in the last decades I have lived in big cities in Britain (a few years in nottingham, liverpool, birmingham and glassgow) to build a wonderful relationship to independent coffee companies, and I never had this experience, and I am always happy to move when I was on the spot. when I stayed some hours in this special coffee shop, the coffee shop fluctuated from empty to mid-capacity, so I thought my annoyance would hopefully improve the ambiente, show that it was clear always popular among the locals. when I asked about water, I was kindly told by the blonde woman that she is technically not allowed to do this for free (must buy bottle water), but she will take it off; I do not think that the (now very annoying) dark haired woman was happy with this and perhaps the blonde woman instructed to fill it only halfway. that made me uncomfortable, but then I thought: “No, that’s silly – I’ve spent I’m going to spend happy hundreds here, as I live only around the corner, so free water is not a freche request.” so nervoursly, I ask you to fill it properly (was super dehydrated by the two coffees). the dark-haired woman cheated even more. the time that I went into there, as I was determined to give this place another chance, she hated me now clearly, whispered over me, and when I was asked for water (again, a few hours after the purchase of coffee,) her answer made me feel so unpleasant and worried, I was really upset. I wanted to go right away when she came around, she was stone in my direction, but was so wonderful for all the others. when I paid, I apologised to offend someone, but could not help but burst into water. I would like to say again that the blonde woman and the man were really friendly, and the dark-haired woman was super friendly for all others. I felt personally attacked. I am actually devastated because I was excited to feel welcome and integrated into a local community that I could support each other and feel like at home. I would like to make the friendly suggestion that someone who asks for free water should not cause such a dislike, and to please avoid that someone feels that it is unpleasant again in the future – even if there is only a misunderstood individual all couple months, it still counts (of perhaps stereotyping or not giving someone a chance to make changes); that is the reason why I write this review.
Best caffe in the city fresh food made to perfection and perfect customer service, what more can they ask!
Went with a friend on Saturday just past midday. Was super empty which was quite a pleasant surprise most likely caused by the rain. The host was lovely throughout. I got the halal breakfast as did my friend it was huge! Very large...portion most likely will not be getting that again but it was nice. I prefer my eggs less runny hence the star. Place was clean, food was good and the service was great. Also pretty good price too so all round, lovely start to a weekend! Thank you!
It is a nice easy going local place with fine breakfast options (vegeratian as well) and fine coffee! Would recommend eggs benedict!
