Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe wanted a couple of cocktails, but they didn’t have my wife’s preferred drink, a mojito. Instead, she ordered a margarita. We also ordered both an appetizer and a main course at the same time, which made the waitress raise an eyebrow. A significant portion of the menu features crab dishes, but when we ordered, she grimaced and informed us that they didn’t have any crab that day. It took a staggering 29 minutes for our cocktails to arrive, despite the restaurant being empty! Finally, they brought out the appetizers and main courses together. We had ordered calamari, nachos, and salmon. I don’t know what to say about the calamari—it was 90% breading and unfortunately burned. The salmon was decent, and we ordered it with a veggie side, but believe it or not, it came with a pasta dish underneath it. It seemed like they might have taken the salmon from a pasta entrée since it was hidden under the salmon. Overall, I would not recommend eating here. The food was disappointing, and the service was incredibly lackluster. Now I understand why the place was completely empty.
Hotel restaurants are typically not a go-to choice for locals, but we decided to give it a try. The décor has been revamped since our last visit for a conference a few years ago. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, though there were a few patrons at the bar enjoying their meals, just like us. I found the buffalo chicken sliders to be overly drenched in sauce, which made them messy to eat. On the other hand, my partner's Truthahnburger was quite good. I would definitely come back for the Caesar salad, but I think I’ll choose something different for the main course next time.
We had a great time at the restaurant and look forward to visiting again in the future.
