Mama Lu's A Modern Day Taco Shop

Great food drink here! Yesterday evening landed there for the first time and had the chip and guac margarita for apps. Then quesadilla, shrimp tacos, nachos rice and beans, yes I am a pig. Everything was so DELISH. I wasn't happy with my food, I mean, I'd get a job there so I can spend all my paycheck for the food. Must go to TC.

The Al Pastor tacos are phenomenal. I had that, with the street corn, which was incredible. They both were an explosion of flavor! This place rocks! Keep up the great work!

This food was absolutely AMAZING. Also, their traditional margaritas are delicious. A few people on here talked about poor customer service, but everyone we encountered was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be going back..many times. And I will dream of their street corn until then!

Absolutely incredible food, and a real cool atmosphere. We try stop by here every time we come up Traverse City. The street corn and the churros are a must with your meal, as well.

Delicious and different. Fun and unique taco options, delicious guacamole and sides (esp the street corn! . Helpful and accommodating staff. Great little place!
