Golden House - Trim

I have often ordered from this restaurant. Today I was with my partner and his son. we've ordered us as usual. the order came more than half an hour too late, even when I called the restaurant to know what was going on. then we discovered. that we don't get what we ordered and we discovered a hair in the food that was clearly not ours. we called the restaurant, but they literally didn't pick up the phone, even after SEVERAL times. Finally, every time we called, the phone number was separated. I mean, it seems to be a sweat, but eating completely ruined. so never again.

This place serves mediocre, bland food, posing as Chinese food. I’ve tried it on two separate occasions and both times the food has been rubbish. The secong tima, a ling black frazzled black hair was in my curry. Disgusting. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We have been visiting this restaurant for a long time and it used to be an enjoyable experience but the staff has changed and I’m not sure they are up to the job. The owner is a lovely lady but needs to be more careful...with who she’s employing. We were there last week and between waitresses not one of them would come over and clear the table. It was not busy so I can’t understand the lack of basic service other than it’s a lack of training and knowledge.

We fancied a munch box last night and ordered it for pick up at how can they get something so simple so wrong. Ribs were burnt, seemed like they were from night before and just reheated in fryer, hence toughness and burnt black. Shredded...chicken was like rubber and the chips were hardly cooked enough. When going inside this place there is a a large fish tank, its in an awful condition, so dirty you cant see the fish, if this is how clean something in the public eye is I'd really hate to imagine what the cleanliness is like behind closed doors. Will NEVER return to this place, and will recommend none of my friends to either

We frequent the Golden House every now and then and it always offers great food, lovely service from Betty, and you can't beat the price of for two courses! I'd definitely recommend the Golden House for a quiet sit down meal with family or...friends.
