There were 2 other people in the bar besides our group and the waiter/bartender was overwhelmed. Took forever to get anything, some items on the menu weren't in stock, couldn't modify the pizza because it comes out of the box that way kept leaving to run room service orders up to the hotel rooms, dressed our beer with sugar instead of beer salt, charged us for all the kids meals even though we were guests at the hotel and kids meals were advertised as free. Started shouting when my husband tried to pay him cash minus the kids meals and poor service so we could get out of there before he ran off with another order. Food was edible, service was a nightmare.

I had a fish and chips dinner and it was good and elegantly served. The restaurant was understaffed and the waiter was working hard to serve everyone. If it had been crowded, there would be significant problems. I also had breakfast there and there is no buffet but the food came out very quickly and was quite good. My waitress was excellent. They have an extensive bar and a good selection of wines by the glass.

Excellent menu, great service and the best coffee around. Don’t miss visiting this icon. If there’s a line it’s worth the wait.

My family and I had breakfast here this morning, the food was great and our server Tina was very sweet. We will request her section from now on.

Decided to try the Magnolia Grill in the Holiday Inn. First time, the grill was not open at 4p, only the bar. Today’s visit was for dinner. Monterey Chicken with seasonal vegetables and fries, second dish was Caesar salad with no meat. Monterey Chicken was not a full breast but a breast sliced in half. Seasonal vegetables okay and fries were cold. $13. Caesar salad was not a meal portion but more of a side salad size in a big plate. $9 With water and tea the bill came to $32. Both of us left hungry and I came home and made a chicken sandwich Not what I expected from Holiday Inn but given low occupancy rate, it does not appear to represent the chain brand for a restaurant Will I go back? No.
