La Barge - Troyes

Really disappointed I reserve 2 weeks before because impossible to eat there without reservation, dinner in love for two, anniversary of the couple and asks for a cool and quiet corner. I'm told yes, of course, bla-bla-bla ... result, in the middle of all of us is next to a family with a baby who just cried... crisis on baby and parent crisis. Nothing romantic so well going out. Then 30 min to have a qqch to drink and over 1h30 to eat qqch. It goes through. It comes in no way. These superbookers and not consistent. couples coming after us, left before us!?? waiters to the west total, zapping our orders to the passage .puis the dish finally and my risotto ben ... do not stop a risotto . simple rice with sauce, two shrimps and there ... 1h30 for this waiting . The risotto is my passion it, wasn't it... my spouse fat without taste and qqt minime .. short for what is the welcome stops it! cold and for the chairs, hard, iron( outdoor terrace ) bad butt guaranteed all this to paid a salty note at the end I will no longer and do not recommend.

Arrived early and despite not being able to get food just yet, the staff were kind and we pleasantly enjoyed drinks with a lovely view. We ordered two burgers and two steaks all of which were cooked perfectly as well as the atmosphere building every minute. Dessert was fab, chocolate fondant was very tasty and melted in the middle! Would 100% recommend.

Think to reserve to have comfortable chairs in the background otherwise they are made of wood and for an evening it is not top, otherwise pleasant kitchen

For a long time I promised to discover this place, I did it at a dinner end of the year with friends. a little disappointed, inside except seeing the water from the portholes you don't feel so much about a boat (that's what attracted me to the base) as we were many we diner outside on the terrace that also serves as a sidewalk, thus making the quality of the dishes, it was quite correct and well served, but without very great originality the servers very friendly

Well overall:- service rather fast and efficient but perhaps a little cold.- satisfactory and well-presented dishes, fresh products a little expensive and especially damage that fresh fries are frozen.- nice place, cleaned a little just above all when you go down to the toilet and the kitchen door is open and you see a large filled trash!
