Italian Peasant - Tubac

I'm disappointed I didn't find this place earlier. I have x2 paprika slices and the bacon bbq burger, and all I have to say is wow! The slices were great, all fresh ingredients with hot melted cheese and a delicious NY style crust. The burger was AWESOME! A huge 1/2 lbs. patty cooked by someone who actually knows the meaning of the word medium. The bacon was crunchy and fresh, with a very beautiful layer of melted cheese in the middle, all on a roasted Brioche beer. The BBQ sauce was sweet with a hint of tan. Like something you'd get from Red Robin. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Simple but welcoming. All in all, it was an excellent experience. I live only about 10 minutes away and will definitely come back for many years. You just have a new customer!

Good portions and authentic Italian cuisine. A party of 8, we share the bill, but we should have told the waitress if we ordered it. Our bills are mixed. We did not correct it between ourselves after the second attempt by the very friendly waitress. She was such a good waitress that we didn't have the heart to ask her for a third time. I'll go back there!

Great pizza, good atmosphere and good service. Enjoy our time here as a whole a pleasant experience with more than just pizza on the menu. Was a little disappointed that some items were not available on the menu, but overall the food was on point.

I highly recommend it! We went to lunch yesterday and one of the staff saw our children unloaded from the car. He had a big table ready to go for us when we got in. My husband ordered Alfredo, which was very good, and we ordered the children a pepperoni pizza that was fantastic. I went on an edge and ordered a burger and pommes and let me tell you the pommes were some of the best we ever had. Everyone at the table wanted something. They were freshly cut and perfectly seasoned. The burger was hotly pierced and perfectly cooked. I told my husband that I think this is the first time that we have eaten and all (including the children) have eaten every bite. Very good food and we're going to definitley go back. We could even make a trip to Tubac to visit this restaurant again.

Such a cute Italian restaurant in Tubac! We started off with the garlic knots and they came out very hot and fresh! My mom sister and I all ordered different pasta entrees and some wine. The portions are huge, make sure you come hungry!
