Avaliação da contribuiçãoI've been going to this place for the last 25 years with friends and asociates. When I mentioned this to the waiter instead of getting better service, I and my guests were given worse service. The last 2 times I went I practically had to hunt the waiters down just to be served. The restaurant was not busy at all! I don't know if they're prejudice or what but I was made to feel very unwelcome and unimportant. Upon leaving I called out to the waiter Hosea 3 times to get the check and he just ignored me, I had to go after him just to get his attention. The table we were set at was sticky and dirty. I don't know what I did to these people to deserve such treatment. I would highly recommend NOT eating at this place. It's unsanitary, and I felt very discriminated against, and unappreciated for my loyalty to the business for over 25 years.
Used to LOVE this restaurant but the quality has definitely gone down. The restaurant was pretty empty and when the food arrived it was cold but the flavor was so different. Tortilla soup tasted liked watery enchilada sauce and not like what their traditional tortilla soup tasted like. Bring back the original Parilla Suiza flavor please because the current one is extremely lacking.
Service was slow and borderline impolite, the food was overly salty, and the margarita was weak. Atmosphere and decor are nice though. There are better Mexican restaurants to dine at in Tucson for sure.
Wonderful food, diverse menu, must have read it five times. The waitress was friendly and sincere, making equal conversation with my wife. Been by hear so many times, glad we stopped, see you on our next visit. Burt and Rose Bradford, lakeside,Az.Vegetarian options: The chilaquillas were great! So were the Ranchero beans. Fajitas were cooked perfect, and I wish I was there now!
We were looking for a special place to go to celebrate before our friend lft for the summer. La Parilla was suggested, and it was a good choice. Conveniently located off of Oracle with off-street free parking, we went around 5:30 and were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we were served right away with waters, chips and two salsas. The menu has a lot of choices with many disnes influenced by Mexico City cuisine. We started with an appetizer Champignones Suizos (melted cheese with mushrooms) that came with four tortillas so that each of us could get a perfect bite. Everyone was able to find an entree of choice. Portions were very generous, and we were able to take home some of our dishes. Our bill for the night for four adults was around $100. This was the first time we had been to this Parilla and we look forward to ccoming back.
