Avaliação da contribuição1. The kabob was served cold—actual cold, not even at room temperature. No matter how you calculate the time it takes for food to go from the kitchen to the table, including any delays, there’s no excuse for being served a cold kabob. 2. The kabob barg had absolutely no flavor. It takes a real effort to turn tenderloin into something tasteless, and I’m honestly puzzled as to how they managed to do that. 3. Less than 10 minutes after we settled the bill, two servers came to our table and asked us to leave because they were closing. This was at 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, not midnight during the week. 4. The decor was outdated, resembling restaurants in remote areas of Iran that haven't seen any updates.
The food was quite delicious. We ordered the Chicken Barg Sultani and the Beef Shish Kebab. The portions for the Sultani were especially generous. However, the dishes were not served hot; it felt like they had been sitting out for a while before reaching our table.
During our first visit, we received excellent service from a knowledgeable and attentive waiter, alongside a nice chat with the owner. However, on our second visit, our waiter seemed rushed and was dressed in a way that made it look like his pants were slipping down, which was rather off-putting. Additionally, the wine I ordered did not meet expectations and was different from how it was described on the menu. The waiter admitted he had no knowledge of wine. It seems there may be some staffing issues at Persian Room. Despite the quality of the food, I’m hesitant to return right away.
Very nice decor and good service. A large menu from which to choose. Low noise level so it was easy to talk.
The restaurant was very busy the night we dined. Most tables were filled with 6 or more customers. Even though the service was slow because they had only 3 servers, the waitress was very pleasant, took care of us to the best of her abilities, and kept apologizing for not being more attentive. Then the food came out and I was even more impressed. I knew the kitchen had to be slammed, but despite this, the meat was cooked to perfection--not dry, tender, and delicious. We have eaten Persian food pretty often because my husband's best friend is Persian and we have had many meals at his friend's mother's home.In our opinion, it is the best Persian restaurant in Tucson. This was our second visit to the Persian Room and we are already planning to return.
