Alive And Well - TUMBY BAY

Tumby Bay is a friendly, clean town with wide streets and an attractive foreshore. We didn't hold out great hopes for the quality of the coffee but visited AAW in a lovely character house, options to sit on the verandah, in the garden or in the traditional high celinged rooms. We were delighted - great coffee!!!Only disappointment? If I was a local, I wouldn't be happy my daily coffee hit was not available for the whole of winter ... yes, that's what the sign said! "Closed for winter"

This is a lovely place to either have morning tea, lunch or just to grab a bite to take away. Many healthy options available as well as some delicious cakes and coffee

I had the most amazing lunch at this beautiful location in Tumby Bay. The menu offers healthy options with gluten-free choices. I highly recommend this place for a delicious lunch experience.

The customer service at this restaurant is outstanding. As travelers from Metropolitan Sydney, we received special treatment with extra pancakes when we left. They even set up a buffet for us. Amazing. Despite being in a beautiful town in the middle of nowhere, we only stopped in because our 4wd had engine troubles after a tough two weeks. We originally planned to stay just one night, but this cafe was so great that we didn't want to leave. "I'm on it."

In addition, they sell locally sourced products such as flour, raw protein ball mixes, jams, and chutneys. It's a great spot to enjoy a meal made with fresh, local ingredients.
