The Oriental Hotel Tumut

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The new menu was exquisite, with every dish prepared perfectly. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

I have eaten at the Ori three or four times as I have passed through Tumut. The food has always been great, very generous and with fresh vegetables ……recently released their new winter menu which looks great, however I opted for the curry of the day which was amazing…… it’s clear to see the new owners are investing time and money……the ori is clearly on a journey to take them from good to great….keep it up guys….it’s looking and tasting amazing

I decided to try the fish and chips for lunch but was very disappointed. I can only give this dish 1 star. The fish was overcooked to the point where it was dry and stringy. I would not recommend ordering this dish. Based on the color of the other fried dishes of the day, it seems that everything was overcooked.

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of local beers, ciders, and ginger beers. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the interior layout is very nice. However, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner as they didn't have many vegetarian options (but there was plenty for meat-eaters). Overall, we would definitely return!

Dirty tables we need to wipe it if the order we do not get information that is a longggg waiting line we have waited an hour before it still finds out 10 orders before us if asked that it answer warns politely I understand his busy time but some information would be nice
