Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe found the place early in the afternoon, but half a clock in the afternoon. the young waiter greets us kindly and treated us as if it were normal. the kitchen was amazing and absolutely delicious. original and local. we will consider it as wonderful memories.
This restaurant is stubborn. when you are denied, it is not an element you are looking for, but the combination of full experience. this restaurant ambiente is excellent. in a restored antique building the stone and woodwork were kept intact. there are tables in. eating is over divine. this restaurant owner knows how to make the perfect service. the quality of eating, from presentation to aroma to the actual taste, was incredible and perfect. the portions were also perfect - and the service was what was hoped to meet at any meal. for us vegan and celiac it was paradisiac. they have literally everything on the menu that can be made in vegan and gluten-free dishes. the gluten-free rolls are made home there, and were brought to us warm and freshly baked - the pastas were for dying, all vegan and gluten-free and of course their veggie dishes were from this world. highly recommended!
Questo ristorante valorizza la zona, ricca di storia. Il restauro della struttura ha mantenuto intatto l'ambiente, arricchendolo di profumi e gusti eccezionali. Ottima anche l'alternativa vegetariana al menu.
Agree in full with the previous review written in English. Superb in both food, setting and service. Owner of both the restaurant and the attached hotel, this was among our finest dinners in Basilicata on this, our third trip to this relatively undiscovered region. The restaurant occupies handsome and historically impeccable premises. The owner is an architect and his wife does the cooking. We sat on the lovely outdoor stone terrace and savored an antipasto of mixed Km 0 products, followed by outstanding pasti including mine with guanciale, the legendary red peppers of nearby Senise, tomatoes and melted caciocavallo cheese. We shared an outstanding veal secondi perfumed by the oranges grown in Tursi which have been lauded by SlowFood Italia as among the heritage foods of the country that are worth this much coveted designation. By USA standards prices are more than reasonable. Make the trip and take time to visit the neighborhood in which it is located, the centuries old quarter known as the Rabatana. Tursi is an easy hour long drive from Matera and much closer to both Senise and Pisticchi!!
