The first time we're here today. great food! great service! friendly staff! my only complicity would be that I felt the prices were a bit high. however, good quality comes at a price. home cogen were! will definitely be back to try some other menu items!

First time in Alabama first time here. The Wayside had a rustic, homey feeling. The coffee was good, service outstanding, biscuits phenomenal. If you prefer your scrambled eggs cooked all the way through say so up front. Mine were under done. Grits were the best I ever had, but I have only had the 3 times so far. We had the plantation sausage. My fiance loved it, and I not so much. I'm from Wisconsin so they reminded me of brats, but with more flavor. Very filling and satisfying experience. Now, on to Muscle Shoals!

This was a nice place, server was outstanding, the biscuits (not shown in the photo) were the best, the rest was average. the other items on the menu could be very good this is a place to see the memorabilia on the walls local hangout

Great hotcakes and biscuits however, the steak is nothing but gristle... Unfortunately, they are struggling to keep up. Arrived at 0935 seated at 1100, and was told it was a 30 minute wait. At the time of this review I'm still waiting on my food at 1155!!!!!! Our drinks have been empty for over 30 minutes. I love supporting family owned busines but they need a lesson in service and running a restaurant. They would be better off hiring a manager from McDonald's to educate them in operation and how to manage a business!!! None of my family will be back. If Broken Egg is too busy you're better off going to the waffle house!
