Avaliação da contribuiçãoHad a wonderful dinner at Currents. We sat right at the window with the ocean as our view. Our server, Melissa, was wonderful and attentive. We both decided to make the 3-course-wine pair. Lamb tartars, fresh food and a lime panacotta dessert. It was delicious and very enjoyed.
I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food I tried was quite exceptional. The green kale had a subtle grilled flavor that I really enjoyed. I ordered the Cioppino, which had perfectly crispy skin on the salmon/trout. It was delicious! The dish also included slightly grilled octopus, which was a nice addition. The duck was also very flavorful and plentiful. Our parents ordered the special stuffed pasta with butter and sage, which they said was excellent. Although I was quite full, I wish I had room for dessert. I also must mention the delicious virgin Pina Colada I ordered from the bartender. While waiting for the food, I stepped outside onto the balcony to take in the beautiful sunset over the sea. The restaurant offers stunning views of the ocean. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
I recently dined at Currents restaurant and tried the trout dish, which was both innovative and tasty. However, I couldn't help but wonder why seafood is often hyped up at restaurants. Especially here on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, one would think that it would be a top priority for a restaurant.
The dinner was amazing and the service was outstanding. It was a wonderful treat to not have to cook at home. Thank you!
We decided to try this location for breakfast. What a view!! We watched the waves crash against the rocks as we ate. I ordered the poutine breakfast and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Partner ordered sausage but wasn’t brought out. They are not the...breakfast type by the way. Coffee was good refilled often. I had to ask for ketchup. Overall I’d eat there again. Great flavours. Koodos to the chef!!
