Chili Massala - Uddevalla

Pathetic taste. This is not an Indian restaurant but Bangladeshi.

I ordered three dishes and broth. The portion sizes were very small for the price. I requested biryani without spice, but it had a lot of spice added. I also ordered a sweet dish that was supposed to contain eggplant and zucchini, but I couldn't taste either ingredient. The only thing that I enjoyed was the dessert.

I highly recommend this small, family-run restaurant that serves delicious Indian cuisine. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, with modern decor and clean restrooms. We tried the bright windshield wiper, dal makhani, lamb and chicken karai, and the classic chicken masala for the kids. The dishes were all very fresh and flavorful, and the naan bread was fluffy. I especially enjoyed the way they served the karai dishes. If you're in Uddevalla, this restaurant is a must-visit. I would give it an extra star just for their excellent service.

The tandoori chicken was bland and lacked flavor, making it unenjoyable to eat.
