Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe ordered the spicy beanburger and the veggie nuggets, both with chips and vegan mayo. Both were nice but the burger was our definite favourite so nice to go to the chippy and have something other than chips alone! The chips themselves were really good and, I don't know if they make their own or not, but the vegan mayo was great. There are a few picnic tables outside, overlooking the neighbouring sports fields, or you can do like we did and drive the short distance to the beach and enjoy your chips by the sea!
We ordered the spicy bean burger and the veggie nuggets, both served with fries and vegan mayonnaise. Both dishes were enjoyable, but the burger was our clear favorite. It was a nice change to have something other than just fries at a chippy. The fries were delicious, and the vegan mayonnaise was fantastic. There are a few picnic tables outside with views of the nearby sports fields, or you can take a short drive to the beach like we did and enjoy your meal by the sea.
This restaurant offers great vegan options in a casual setting. The burger I tried was delicious, although not as spicy as its name suggests (Flamin' Spicy Beanburger), so make sure to ask for seasoning if you prefer a bit of heat.
Unfortunately, the previous reviews are outdated as the only vegan option available now is chips. The veggie burger is not vegan and there are no vegan nuggets on the menu.
I really appreciated the clearly marked vegan choices at this fish and chip shop. The burger was delicious, although it wasn't actually spicy despite its name (Flamin' Spicy Beanburger). Don't let that deter you if you're not a fan of spicy food.
