Stepping into The Grove is akin to diving headlong into a fever dream of flavor and ambiance, where the boundaries of taste are pushed to their limits and where every experience is heightened by the sheer audacity of the journey. From the onset, the super friendly staff welcomes patrons as if they 're long-lost comrades returning from a wayward voyage. These guardians of gastronomy, with a keen eye and an unwavering hand, guide you through an atmosphere that manages to straddle the fine line between upscale elegance and uninhibited comfort. It 's a place where the walls seem to whisper tales of decadent feasts and unbridled merriment.Ah, the food! To merely label it 'delicious ' would be a grave injustice. The beef medallions, a centerpiece of carnivorous delight, were seared to sheer perfection — tender as a forbidden love ballad and robust as a tale from the heart of the desert. The lake perch, meanwhile, sang a siren song of the deep — fresh as a morning by the lakeside, crispy as the pages of an untouched journal, and radiant in its deliciousness. The Grove is not just another pit stop in the gastronomic universe; it’s a heady adventure that lingers in your soul, beckoning you to return time and again. After such a first-time visit with friends, it becomes clear that this is not a one-time affair. Oh no, it 's an addiction, a call to culinary arms. The wild spirit of The Grove has cast its spell, and rest assured, I will be back. For in this tempestuous world, some promises are made to be kept. And this is one of them.
Very good food, but weird experience overall. The restaurant was empty except for what I think was a child's birthday party going on in a separate room.Halfway through our meal, some other customers came in the restaurant, looked around for staff and couldn't find any after a few minutes, so they came over and asked if we could help them? For a place rated as a nice restaurant it was just a really strange experience
Wish I could rate this place higher. The staff was friendly and perhaps if we had not caught them on such a busy weekend (Labor day weekend), the experience could have been better. It was clear that they were understaffed, we had to ask for our drinks a couple of times and took forever to get them. One of us didn’t receive our ginger ale until the end of the meal and by that point we were already getting the check. I will say that the lobster Mac and cheese was very very good. It was a very hot day that day and the a/c was lacking. It won’t be very likely that we will return to dine here but our waitress was very apologetic and we appreciated that.
This place is a hidden gem that I recommend to everyone. The food is incredible and Chef Eduardo puts so much care and thought into his menus (I've loved every restaurant he's worked at). While the paella is amazing, the brussel sprout appetizer is a must and the crab cakes are decadent. I'm constantly shocked by how not crowded it is everytime I've gone and I can only hope that more people visit and appreciate this wonderful place.
THE best restaurant experience our family has had in the last 10 years going to this area. We were intrigued by the menu and were blown away with the taste, presentation, and service. The ribs were falling off the bone with a very unique sauce. The steak sandwich was glorious, and the plantains were outstanding. Take the family, or enjoy a wonderful date night.
