Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe chicken parm at this restaurant looked delicious, but unfortunately, it was the worst I've ever had. The chicken was so thinly cut and overcooked that it was dry and inedible. The breading had an overpowering taste of garlic salt, and the Parmesan cheese seemed to be from a can, not freshly shaved. The pasta was okay, but nothing special. The crispy calamari was overcooked and rubbery. The cheesesteak sandwich had very few mushrooms and the meat was overcooked as well. The only good things about this place were the waitress and the couple we talked to. Overall, it was not a good dining experience and I would not recommend it. We originally came for the pizza but decided to try entrees instead, which was a mistake. Perhaps we'll give them another chance and just stick to the pizza next time. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
I absolutely love the pizzas and sandwiches here. They are carefully crafted and absolutely delicious. Whether it's lunchtime or any other time of day, this restaurant in our rural area never disappoints.
I have been a patron of Dukes for several years, but recently the restaurant seems to have lost its touch. I have been experiencing numerous small issues and long wait times. Today, I placed an order over the phone and was unexpectedly disconnected. After calling back to place my order again, I arrived at the restaurant only to be informed that they had no record of my order and had to search for my ticket. This resulted in an additional 20 minute wait. While the girl at the counter was friendly and apologetic, I was surprised that the owner did not personally address the situation with me. Unfortunately, I believe it may be time to part ways with Dukes. With so many other pizza places to choose from, there is nothing particularly special about Dukes.
My experience here was a bit like the Twilight Zone. The server took my order and then I received something else. Finally got the cheese steak I ordered. I've had some bad cheese steaks but this was the worst for sure. Would have been better off getting Steakums and rolls on the way home. Not sure what the meat was on it and don't really want to know. It's a shame this dump didn't work out since from the outside it looked promising.
My family and I had booked Beneduce Vineyards Sunday Picnic for an outdoor family gathering. We brought some nosh for our B.V. wine but also ordered(the night before) pizza and stromboli's from nearby Duke's Pizzeria. Our order arrived hot, on-time, and was immensely enjoyed by everyone. Duke's was the perfect choice for our Family's shared time together.
