Rose Garden Pub - Upton

All I can say is wow!!! We stopped for the first time today after driving past so many times, and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the nachos, a burger and a wrap, as well as tenders and fries for our kid. We weren't expecting to discover some of the best pub fare/american food we've ever had right in our backyard. The burger was so delicious and flavorful. toppings were spot on, bread fresh and soft. And the onion rings!!! No exaggeration, some of the best onion rings I've ever tasted. The nachos were enormous and came with all the fixings, so so good. We were well taken care of, and you can see the locals stopping by for a beer and a chat. Loved everything about the Rose Garden, and we'll certainly be back, it's been a while since I've truly enjoyed the food I've been served and the service I've received in a restaurant.

We go here a lot and the food used to be very good. Since it was sold we actually have only done take out, but unfortunately won't be back for take out anymore. Twice the food was completely ice cold. Not warm, not hot, just ice cold. We picked it up and ate it at a place right around the corner, so if it came out of the kitchen hot or warm, it would most definitely still have been warm. You couldn't eat the ice cold fries mostly because they were cold but also because they weren't even real fries, they did something else to them. I ate two fries and threw them out. The sandwich was ice cold too but you could at least eat it. We really hope they work out their kinks with take out, getting ice cold take out once might be just a fluke, but twice is a pattern.

It's like a little hole in the wall. Ut nicer and with a great little atmosphere.

Very Nice. Typical American bar with a Chinese restaurant name. Atmosphere is Vintage.
