Avaliação da contribuiçãoI come often for their chicken curry lunches. Great food at very reasonable price. Takeout or eat in, my family is never disappointed.
The staff was friendly, the food was good, the portions were large and they even gave us complementary mango lassis! Best of all, the Butter Chicken is picky wife approved.
It 's ok. Wouldn 't say for me personally, that it 's the best Indian food on island, but it 's definitely not the worse either. I was surprised that we weren 't asked a spice level for our dishes. I typically go mild, but my coconut chicken curry had NO spice, was a bit bland, and I actually was longing for something to give it more of a kick. I 'm used to an assortment of spices being on the table at other Indian restaurants so was disappointed to not see it here, and honestly after our food was delivered, the server was incognito, so didn 't feel like hunting him down. This seems like a love it or leave it kind of spot. For me, it was an 'I tried it , and now I 'm good.
We love Taj. A good spot for Indian curry and they are always on top of orders and have great service. I get the vegetable curry or Tikka Masala. Naan and samosas are tasty. We come at least once a week!
Food was ok. It lacked seasoning and the curry was soupy. Samosa were dry and the naan was soft but slightly doughy. I usually eat all of my Indian food and today was a 1st that I left the majority of the plate. Definitely don’t have to return.
