Tavern On The Square - Vail

The hours were wrong when we went. They stayed open a lot longer than what was posted online. The staff was friendly. We ate outside, which was nice. The indoor dining was not available, which was fine. The view is nice, the staff is nice. My son was not a fan of the burger. The grilled cheese was good. The Cobb salad was fine. Would not recommend the nachos. They do have a few gluten-free options, although a Cobb Salad was the best dinner choice for that. I noticed a lot of vegetarian options. They have a nice drink list, but none of us drank anything that night. They did refill water quickly, which was nice. Great staff.

Fun restaurant and bar at the base in Lionshead. Neil served us and he was excellent, the food was delicious and the mixed drinks hit the spot. The atmosphere on the patio is second to none!

We went to have drinks, it was raining but the view was still amazing! Great drinks!

The decor is cute and fits within the ski feel. The food was fine. The cocktails were expensive.

Honestly, I would pick another restaurant. The salmon was fishy and the short rib was very fatty. Pick another place if you'd like to have a better dining experience. Was very disappointed when the bill came as well.
