Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt was disappointing with the food. They changed almost everything. Our baked potatoe was baked too long. The incredible salad is gone. It was my favorite restaurant but now it is not. Now it is too expensive for meal and the experience.
The food is always good so as the service. All servers are very professional and friendly. A nice place to go if you want good quality steak. My husband always enjoys his Cap of Ribeye and even though it's a steakhouse, they have an excellent choices of fish and seafood. My favorite is Sea Bass.
We go to Black and Blue about every couple weeks. It is our favorite restaurant for the exceptional service and quality of food. We love everything from the complimentary selection of four different kinds of breads and specialty butters and the complimentary amuse which always has olives, cheese and almonds. Sometimes we splurge on the seafood tower which has the finest freshest seafood. My favorite entree is the sea bass and my husband's is the prime rib. For dessert you can't get a better soufflé in Paris than what they serve at Black and Blue. We enjoy that with coffee which comes with a chocolate spoon, sugar stick biscotti and whipped cream. You can also try the chef's tropical interpretation of a baked alaska with coconut cake and pineapple ice cream, amazing!
My wife and I have been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. Star our server is shining example of consistent perfection, she always makes us feel at home. Chris the manager is amazing he never forgets us and I watch him work the room to make sure all his guests are happy. I highly recommend Black n Blue the hidden gem in Valley Center.
Up until the entree everyowas great. Then the $105 Wagyu steak showed up. Looked like the cheapest steak at the butchers. It was over cooked and gray. It had no taste. The carrots came covered in zaatar spice that was inedible. Next time I'll stick to the appetizers and soup.
