Tommy B's Clubhouse - Valparaiso

Our meal at Maple Bacon yesterday was a disaster, only topped by the disaster of a meal we had at Tommy B's Clubhouse tonight. Are they owned by the same people? Is there no training? What excuse could Tommy's have; haven't they been open for awhile?We asked for no straws (the planet! ; waiter scoffed at us and brought them anyway. Appetizers were good but our salads never came. We asked to cancel them; waiter fibbed and said they were already started. We said, okay, we will take them to go but do NOT put them in styrofoam (the planet! , as we went back to the Inn next door and got our own containers. Waiter brought three salads MUCH LATER...and in styrofoam and plastic said he didn't hear us! WTF?!

Nice atmosphere of a sport bar. In a quiet neighborhood.Food was delicious. I had the lake perch which was breaded to perfection.

Went to maple and bacon and had amazing food and drinks the staff was awesome!Food: 5/5

Had the Italian sausage sandwich on a recent visit. Nice seasoning and cooked nicely.The onion soup was tasty and not overly salty. A nice layer of cheese baked over the top and full of onions.Nice place to hit after a round of golf at Aberdeen.

Depends on the night. Some bartenders are on top of things, some are not. Food is good. Love the outdoor seating. Drinks are a bit pricey. Bit always a good time.
